T-Bomb: how to call in what you really want

Truth Bomb Tuesday: Are you sending a clear message to the universe?

I want you to imagine something.

Imagine there’s an old man who comes into the possession of a new kids bike.

He wants to give it away, so he asks two kids in his local neighbourhood if they want the bike.

The first kids is like, “Sure. Whatever. I guess it’d be good.” They’re too cool for school.

The second kid flips his lid. He’s jumping off the walls, saying, “Oh wow that would be the most amazing thing ever. It’s going to change my life! It’s going to make me cry tears of happiness.”

Now, which kid do you think is going to end up with the bike?

Kid number two right. Obviously the old man wants to create the most joy possible, and kid two is obviously going to get a lot more happiness out of it. It’s a no-brainer.

Now, if you ask me, this is kind of how the world works. Not exactly but close enough.

If you imagine the universe as an old man with gifts, you’ll tend to notice that the one’s who want it most tend to get what they want.

But what I see is that most of us are kid number one.

We’re playing it cool. We don’t let ourselves get too excited. We don’t want to appear desperate, or we don’t want to set ourselves up for disappointment.

We pretend that we don’t really want what we want. That we’re indifferent – we don’t care whether we get it or not.

As a result, the universes gifts go elsewhere.

“But hang on Dymphna, surely the universe can see through my façade of cool. Surely the universe understands what I truly want. I don’t have to spell it out do I?”

Look, I’ve got no idea how this works, but I reckon the universe isn’t as ‘clever’ as all that. I just don’t think it’s designed to sift through the layers of human conditioning to try and figure out what we actually want when it isn’t what we say we want.

I mean, if you can’t articulate it and get excited about it, why would you expect the universe is going to do it for you?

No, my recommendation is to be number two.

Be really clear about what you want, and then allow yourself to get excited by it. Allow yourself to dream into it. Allow your imagination to run wild with it.

Hold it in your mind and your heart until your passion becomes a roaring bonfire.

Get to a stage where everyone you meet can see exactly what you want and how much you want it.

If you can do that, then you’re putting out a strong message. Then you’re putting out something that the universe can see and the universe can understand.

Then you are actually open and open to receive.

Maybe there are gifts right there for the taking. The universe only needs to know that you actually want it.

So don’t be too cool for school.

Let your dreams set you on fire.

Then there will be no doubt.
